The Japanese company Sony introduced the heiress of the mirrorless camera A6000. The long-awaited model A6300 by many photographers can boast the fastest in the world the speed of autofocus, and also the largest number of points of this autofocus. Of course, the A6300 can shoot video as 4K, which makes this gadget also a good video camera.
Outwardly, the new camera is practically no different from its predecessor, although inside the case it has many differences. When creating the A6300 was used a new 24.2-megapixel sensor APS-C CMOS. The resolution decreased by 0.1 megapixels compared to the A6000, but representatives from Sony say that thanks to the use of innovative technologies, the updated sensor has increased photosensitivity and speed. The BionZ CPU is responsible for image processing, and the ISO sensitivity covers the range from 100 to 51 200 (in the previous model, the upper bar was 25 600).
But most of all the new camera of journalists was impressed by the incredibly fast 4D Focus automatic focusing system. Sony claims that to focus the A6300 will need only 0.05 seconds. The previous model of the A6000, which used to be the record holder in this field, coped with the task in 0.06 seconds, which is almost 20 percent slower. During autofocusing, the new camera rests on 425 points, which also makes it the champion. This speed is useful for photographers who will use the serial shooting in two modes: 8 and 11 frames per second.
As before, the camera is compatible with E-type lenses, as well as A-type with the use of an official adapter for this bayonet. The camera will go on sale in March this year at a price of $ 1,000 or $ 1150 in a kit with a 16-50 mm lens. Below you can see the video shot with the help of the camera A6300 in 4K resolution.
