Awaiba NanEye: The Tiniest Camera in the World

Portuguese company Awaiba, specializing in the production of image sensors type CMOS, has produced a miniature camera that is smaller in size than the match head. According to the manufacturer, NanEye is the smallest digital camera in the world, built on a silicon chip. Even with the lens its dimensions (1 mm x 1 mm x 1.5 mm) do not exceed the dimensions of the pin head.
