Nikon Corp. officially announced the release of a new SLR camera amateur class - D5100. In fact, this is a deeply modernized version of the well-known model D5000, which is very popular among experienced amateur photographers and novice professionals. As it turned out, the D5100 has an image sensor type CMOS with a higher resolution (16.2 megapixels) and the newest photoprocessor EXPEED 2.
It is also worth noting that the Nikon D5100 uses a pentaserkalo and can work with photosensitivity from 100 to 6400 ISO. Among other features, there are three focus modes (tracking, pre-emptive and manual) and 3 "articular display with a resolution of 921 thousand pixels. In addition, this latest SLR camera from Nikon still can shoot HD video in Full HD resolution (1080p) at 30 frames per second. For storing photos and videos, SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards are used.
