Canon is fully preparing for the upcoming photographic exhibition PMA. There, the manufacturer will present the first SLR cameras with rotating displays. According to rumors, the event will be presented EOS 60D and the new Rebel. Both of them will be equipped with a moving LCD display, due to which it will be more convenient to shoot interesting views. This update will allow cameras to compete with the Nikon D5000 and G11.

The middle class camera - 60D - will get a 50D metal case and an improved matrix with a 15 megapixel resolution. In low light, she will borrow her abilities from EOS 7D. It will also be possible to shoot video in 1080p at 30 frames per second. Along the way, the manufacturer can also update the battery to the camera.

The new Rebel will be smaller than the Rebel T1i (EOS 500D), but will not compromise on the quality of the 60D. The video will be shot at 720p, but whether the camera will receive 1080p at 20 frames per second, as in T1i, is still unknown.

Both cameras will be on sale sometime by the end of May. Price 60D will be about $ 1,190, and Rebel - $ 800.
