Nikon intends to present at least four new cameras next week. However, the P100, the first Nikon camera with backlight illumination sensor, represents the maximum interest, which in many respects improves shooting in low light. It will replace the model P90 ultrazoom and will receive optics 26X.
Two design models: the S3000 and S8000 are still dark horses. However, it is known that the S8000 will be the thinnest camera with a 10X lens. It will also support the shooting mode in HD video.
In the budget segment will accommodate the S3000 and the entry-level camera L110. The logical continuation of the D700 and D90 should not be expected yet. The manufacturer will provide more detailed information at the official press conference on February 3.
