Canon EOS 500D - now officially

As it turned out, besides the Rebel T1i, yesterday, Canon still presented another “DSLR” to the users ’trial - the EOS 500D. Unlike the first model, it does not belong to the entry-level SLR (DSLR) category, but is already positioned in the middle price range, HDTV UK writes.

First of all, it is worth noting that this model has not only a 15-1 megapixel matrix, but also the ability to record video in 1080p and 720p resolution. Moreover, the EOS 500D still has a fairly high sensitivity (from ISO 3200 to 12800). The camera is based on the DIGIC 4 processor and has a 3-inch ClearView display. There is an HDMI output.

Apparently, some of the technologies implemented in the EOS 500D were borrowed from Full HD camcorders. First of all, we are talking about recording video in AVCHD format. As you might guess, the model is quite expensive. Even in the Body (without optics) version it costs 869.99 pounds. As Canon promises, it will go on sale in May in Europe. For her, the famous Japanese company has already prepared several models of lenses.
