Mamiya introduces 33 megapixel camera

Mamiya company announced the release of the camera DL33. The novelty is distinguished by a 33 megapixel sensor of 36 x 48 mm, which can be guessed by its name, approximately two times larger than that of most standard DSLR cameras — each pixel is about 7.2 microns. The camera has a 3.5-inch touch screen - according to the manufacturer, the largest of those produced, with high contrast for better viewing on the street.

The DL33 is a combination of the Mamiya 645AFD III photosystem and the Aafus II 7 e-filling from Leaf. The latter can save about 1 frame per second when using the fastest CompactFlash cards on the market. As a result, the camera is capable of shooting 67 MB of RAW frames, which can be converted to 8-bit JPEG or 16-bit TIFF files. The novelty will be on sale in April at a price of about twenty thousand dollars.
