Marshall Electronics introduced the world's first OLED camera

As reported by OLED-Info, yesterday Marshall Electronics officially announced the release of the world's first video cameras with OLED displays - V-OL761. This series so far consists of four models, and they differ among themselves by the type of interfaces -HDA, HDMI or 3GSDI. The latter, we recall, supports data rates of up to 3 Gbit / s. By the way, all models can still be used as field monitors, and they fall into the category of professional photo and video equipment.

All models from the V-OL761 series have a 7.6-inch display from Chi Mei Electronics (CMEL) with a 16: 9 format and a standard resolution of 800 × 480. As for its contrast, this figure reaches 30000: 1. By the way, this is the same OLED display that is used in Kodak wireless digital photo frames.

Like all professional-grade cameras, models from the V-OL761 series are quite expensive. Their cost varies in the range of 2100-2400 US dollars depending on the configuration of the battery and the type of interfaces.
