Panasonic introduced two new cameras in Japan. The new TM350 (pictured) is the first HD camcorder, which is equipped with a 64GB solid-state drive, which allows you to store about 16 hours of video in 1080p-resolution. It is also equipped with a 5.1-channel sound and uses a 3MOS (3 CMOS) sensor, providing better shooting quality in low light conditions compared to the CCD. The novelty also takes 10.6 megapixel images using a 12x lens. In addition, the camera supports face recognition both during photography and during shooting.
A more budget model - the TM30 has a single CMOS sensor and 32GB of internal memory, but it has a larger 16x zoom and, according to the manufacturer, is the lightest camera with such a memory capacity - its weight is about 225 grams. Both new products have an SDHC slot and go on sale in Japan on June 25 at a price (in dollars equivalent) of $ 1,568 and $ 1,045, respectively. The price in the USA is likely to be lower. The date of the European release was not reported.
