Panasonic is developing a camera for three-dimensional shooting

This year NAB exhibition prepared a couple of interesting discoveries, besides the newest Fujifilm P2 memory cards, there was presented the first camera for three-dimensional shooting in high quality. At the moment, Panasonic 3D Full HD Camera Recorder is only a prototype, but the company has made it clear that it intends to implement this idea and present it to the market as soon as possible.

The camera uses a dual optics shooting system that captures 3D video in standard 1080p resolution. All footage is transferred to professional P2 memory cards. Whether such a device will perform an optional two-dimensional survey is difficult to say.
