Canon has released a new semi-professional camera, the PowerShot G10. The camera received an update of the sensor - from 12.1 to 14.7 megapixels, as well as a lens - from six-fold, with which the G9 was supplied with a five-fold wide-angle 28-140mm equivalent, intended for the best shooting of landscapes and large portraits.

Sensitivity remains the same as that of the G9 –ISO 1600. Among the innovations, you can note the Servo AF function, which tracks the subject when the shutter release button is pressed halfway, as well as an improved face recognition function, which now allows people to recognize faces at sharper angles also respond to the appearance of a new person in the frame. The camera will be available in October for $ 500.
