The company Digital Imaging Systems (DIS) has presented a rather interesting photo module for mobile phones. DIS6931 will help even a simple camera in the cell to shoot with a resolution of 9 megapixels. From the “adult” devices, the module took over the autofocus, mechanical shutter, high-quality optics and ND-filter.
The maximum resolution of the CMOS sensor is 3488 x 2616 pixels, in addition there is the ability to record HDTV (up to 30 frames per second). The autofocus response time is less than 300ms, and during continuous shooting it is up to 200 ms. Mass production of the device is scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.
