The last premiere from Leica was, in my opinion, in 2006, but recently the company recalled itself with a presentation of two 10.1-megapixel cameras: D-Lux 4 and C-Lux 3. It is distinguished by their compact body and excellent photo quality. The LCD screen of the D-Lux 4 is slightly larger, and transmits 460 thousand pixels, while the C-Lux 3 has 230 thousand. The memory capacity of both cameras is 50 MB, and the additional space for photos provides support for SD and SDHC cards .
The D-Lux 4 is equipped with a 1 / 1.63-inch CCD sensor and a Leica DC Vario-Summicron ultra-fast 5.1-12.8mm f lens with a focal length range from 24 to 77 mm. The three-inch screen supports three formats: 4: 3, 3: 2 and 16: 9. The C-Lux 3 is equipped with a more modest 1 / 2.33-inch CCD sensor with a slower Leica DC Vario-Elmarit 4.4-22mm f lens with a focal range of 25-125 mm.
The official announcement of the cameras will be held in October, at the same time, perhaps, we will find out the price.
