Another piece of fresh data about the Pentax K7D has reappeared on the Web, Electronista reports. Perhaps this is one of the most mysterious SLR cameras (dSLR) from the famous Japanese company, and so much has been written about it that it seems that we already know everything about this camera long before its presentation.
According to preliminary data, this “DSLR” will have a 14.6-megapixel matrix, a 3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 920 thousand pixels, a viewfinder with 100 percent coverage. In addition, the Pentax K7D still boasts a new PRIME II processor. By the way, this is the first "SLR" from Pentax, which is capable of shooting HD video. However, it is unclear whether it supports 720p (HD Ready) or 1080p (Full HD) resolution in this mode.
As we can see, the K7D is built on the same CMOS matrix as the K20D, but its electronic filling is much fresher. Among other design features of this camera, it can still be noted the built-in image stabilization module, self-cleaning function and protection from dust and water.
If nothing changes, the Pentax K7D will be officially presented tomorrow, May 20th.
